While water-based paint will almost always come out, oil-based paint is very difficult to remove. Our technicians have successfully extracted paint from carpet fibre; however, it is very difficult to remove once it dries. Depending on the amount and type of paint and how long it has been there, it may take more than one treatment and we cannot guarantee 100% removal.
Regular carpet maintenance will extend the life of your investment significantly. In low-traffic areas, carpets should be professionally cleaned at least once every six months. In higher-traffic areas, depending on the size of the area and number of employees, we recommend a minimum of quarterly to as frequently as monthly. Applying a carpet protector after cleaning will also help to preserve the appearance of your carpets and reduce wear, while protecting against spills and stains.
To ensure the best result in removing a stain, it must be treated right the first time. If you are unsure about the treatment for a specific stain, contact us first. We can either advise you on the best way to treat it initially or arrange to send someone out to take care of it.
